Covid-19 II: What the H2H Network did
The global Covid-19 pandemic is far from over. Around the world, Covid-19 complicates and compounds existing humanitarian crises. Humanitarian-to-humanitarian agencies can help. Independent, expert technical service providers are supporting humanitarians to tackle the global health crisis efficiently and effectively.Service Matrix: Nagorno-Karabakh
The H2H Network has activated its fund in response to the growing humanitarian emergency in Nagorno-Karabakh. Two member agencies who specialize in assessments (Impact Initiatives/ REACH and ACAPS) will focus on collecting information on the needs of displaced people, aiming to inform and strengthen the wider humanitarian response. Over 160,000 households lack food, water, or shelter since Cyclone Harold hit the Pacific nation of Vanuatu in April 2020. With Covid-19 restrictions in place since March, the island has been cut off from outside crisis responders and supplies. Here’s how the H2H Network was able to help the CDAC Network and Field Ready to strengthen local cyclone recovery efforts despite the pandemic.Flyer: Covid-19 II
The H2H Global COVID-19 Humanitarian Support Package supports global yet local efforts to fight the pandemic. It especially focuses on countries and/or regions with weaker health systems. As part of the funded network service package, these services are available to all responders.
