H2H Network members’ diverse menu of security, logistics and programme services promote efficiency and impact by offering high-quality support to humanitarians at all levels.

H2H Network members focused on security, logistics and programme support offer a wide range of services. Some give specialist support and advice for programming in areas such as cash, nutrition and WASH, as well as deployment of technological know-how. Some simplify logistics and supply chains by manufacturing items locally, where they are needed. Others collect data and share analysis of threats facing people living and working in dangerous environments, from aid and health workers to local populations.

Humanitarian agencies – especially smaller local and national organizations – cannot necessarily meet all their own needs in terms of security, logistics and programme support. And nor should they. Significant efficiencies and improvements can be made from smart collaboration and effective sharing of knowledge and expertise.

By making their services widely available, beyond the traditional international NGOs and UN agencies, H2H Network memvers also support localization – even the smallest agency can access the full range of security management, logistics and programmatic expertise.
