Advancing evidence-based humanitarian action: H2H Network welcomes Harvard Humanitarian Initiative

The H2H Network is pleased to welcome its newest member, Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI).
As a university-wide academic and research center, HHI brings expertise in interdisciplinary, practice-based research and education, advancing evidence-based leadership in disasters and crises. By collaborating with scholars, policymakers, NGOs, and humanitarian actors, HHI works to ensure that humanitarian aid is grounded in scientific evidence and humanitarian principles, while preserving the rights, autonomy, and dignity of those affected by crises.
HHI states: "We joined H2H to engage in collective action to meet growing global humanitarian needs at a time when the international humanitarian system itself is under threat."
At a time when humanitarian challenges are becoming more complex, the need for evidence-based solutions has never been greater. The H2H Network is thrilled to welcome HHI and looks forward to working together to strengthen collective action and improve humanitarian response through research. This collaboration will help drive innovation, coordination, and impact across the humanitarian sector.
