H2H Network Annual Report 2023

In 2023, the H2H Network supported the aid system by activating its funding mechanism three times. First, following the devastating earthquakes that hit Türkiye and Syria in February, then in response to the escalation of the conflict in Sudan in April, and again after Storm Daniel struck Libya in September. To further respond to rising humanitarian needs, the H2H Network deepened its focus on innovation as a driver of change, launching the H2H Accelerator Programme, and also developing an H2H-specific innovation strategy.

H2H Network Annual Report 2022

2022 was marked by a record number of natural disasters and the H2H Fund was activated in response to the drought in the Horn of Africa and flooding in Pakistan. In the first half of the year, the H2H Network launched a new three-year strategy to further support members in meeting emerging humanitarian challenges. The strategy created the framework for the sustainable development of the network through three focus areas: Building Community; Providing Resources; and Facilitation and Brokering, each supported by the crosscutting focus of Impact and Learning. During the second half of the year, we implemented the strategy within these three focus areas.
