The Humanitarian Networks and Partnership Week 2026 will take place online (2-6 March) and in Geneva (10-12 March).

The H2H Network will host two panel discussions on 1) Coordinated and Common Services Models and 2) Enabling services and their impact on local responses.

The HNPW will also be the opportunity to gather members of the H2H Network for the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Coordinated and common services models, how data partners can join efforts to shape and support an effective humanitarian data ecosystem for operations, a deep dive into the H2H Fund activation for Syria.

As the humanitarian community undergoes a global "Reset," the necessity for a sustainable and healthy data ecosystem for humanitarian operations has never been more critical. This session provides an overview on a proposed approach to the co-development of a joint "Common Services Model" which expands as a deep dive into the H2H funding activation for Syria (November 2025 – May 2026), to explore how joint initiatives can be institutionalized at the headquarters and organizational levels.

By spotlighting the coordinated efforts of iMMAP, MapAction, CartONG, HOTOSM, and Kobo, the panel will highlight the importance of a "Help Desk" approach that maximizes technical expertise, reduces duplication, and prioritizes the needs of local civil society organizations and humanitarian responders in Syria.

Panelists will examine the transition from fragmented project-based support to a demand-driven ecosystem that reinforces local ownership and operational decision-making. At a time of significant funding volatility, this session advocates for a systemic shift towards a common services model as a core pillar of localized and evidence-based humanitarian action.

What H2H Fund activations illustrate of the changing realities of enabling services and their impact on local responses and coordination systems

The session will combine short expert inputs with a structured, interactive panel discussion to explore how recent H2H Fund activations reflect shifting realities for enabling services and local coordination systems. The moderators will open the session by framing the purpose, highlighting trends observed across multiple crises.

Each panelist - representing global H2H actors and national NGO platforms from DRC and Syria - will offer insights from their context, focusing on what types of enabling services were requested, how local coordination platforms engaged with them, and what these experiences suggest about current and emerging needs.

These inputs will feed into a moderated discussion organized around three themes:

  • how enabling services are evolving in response to operational realities
  • the changing roles of local coordination networks
  • implications for the design of future H2H Fund activations.
